ROGER ANDREWS D.H. II (Dip ) C.B.A.
SINGING & DRAMA
Roger's first contact with a stage was at the age
of ten, contact in the literal sense, as a gangster, this first role
called for him to be tripped up, beaten up and knocked out, teaching
him at a very early stage, how to fall flat on his face.
This obviously set a president, as many comedy character parts were
to follow, such as "Spetigrue" in "Charley's Aunt"
, Mr Mole in "A Month of Sundays", the "Vicar"
in "See How They Run". "Olde Tyme Musical and "Variety".
Taking a keen interest in all aspects of the Theatre, Roger proceeded
to enjoy an involvement in Directing, Set Design, Stage Lighting,
and Sound Production, and was professionally trained in Stage Make-up.
While still very much appreciating performance, Roger joined a Dance
Band as Guitar Vocalist, and from this, was offered a position with
Pontins Holidays. In a span of twelve years, enjoyed entertaining
all age groups at a site in Devon, and was voted top Children's Entertainer
He now takes great delight in teaching singing and drama to the pupil
of the Sarah Andrews Dance Academy.
